I belong to a good school, which teaches me a lot of useful things for when I’m older. I am currently in year six. I moved up in to year six 3 months ago. I have a lot of kind friends, they are called Luke, Tom and Jordan. I like my teacher Mrs. Walker, she is very kind and sometimes strict. I sometimes struggle with my behaviour during school but I am trying to behave at the moment. I have just come off a behaviour sheet.
I hope in the future that my behaviour will influence other children e.g. no vandalising, stealing, cheekiness to other people. This will help my neighbourhood and other people’s neighbourhood and all the people who read this. I hope you will take notice of the behaviour parts because it will help you a lot.

I have found out how many boys and girls under 16 are criminals and it is shocking how much percent of boys are carrying out crimes. They are doing things like vandalism, shoplifting, mugging, taking drugs and thieving cars.
There are things like jail to send them to but I think that it will do them no good because they mix with more criminals. If they mix with more then when they get out they will have more courage to do these things again and they will just make it worse, so jail is not the solution. But there are more solutions for this such as detention centres that are like jail but are not kind of the same because they do some good.

In my life there are many great things such as my loving family, helping friends, my safety, my health and I get good food on the table. Also I have great entertainment (e.g. Eminem) and I get good education and many holidays.
But there are also quite a few bad things as well, for example there are many wars going on and it worries me that one day wars may affect me.
I think we use far too much electricity and this is contaminating our universe. There is something extremely important to human life called the o-zone layer and without it human life could die out because UV rays and other gases could come in and spread terrible diseases such as cancer.
Cigarettes and tobacco etc are also very bad for our world because they pollute the atmosphere and can give people asthma and things like heart disease or lung cancer. If we can encourage people not to smoke the world would be much better. Basically my hope for the future is that we can put a stop to the wars and pollution and that human life will go on as long as it can.

In Africa many animals like tigers and leopards have been hunted down for their fur. Their fur then becomes rich scarves or posh coats. I wish that this would stop so the people and children in the next century will be able to see these beautiful creatures. Lately, governments have been debating over the matter of fox hunting but the other side said that fox hunting was a tradition.
I feel that the foxes that are being hunted should chase the foxhunters themselves. In the future I hope that man and animals will be friends. Some organisations have set up funds and shelter for endangered animals. If you said that fish species were also endangered to some people they may laugh but this is true. Fishermen are the main destruction to the fish and a news report not long ago has backed up this case. I would like to help all these sick and helpless animals in some way and punish all hunters.

The good things about my life are: having a kind and loving family and lots of friends. I also belong to many clubs such as dance class, pony club and footwork competitions. I have 16 rabbits and their breed is Dutch l also have a dog called Eddy. My hopes for the future are that no one will hunt down animals and kill them and people will not pollute the world.
My other hope for the future is that people should be grateful with what they have and not be greedy. For instance people can afford to go on holiday and travel to different countries but when we do, help us not to be racist to darker skin toned people or people with different looks, which we don’t appreciate.

The good things about my life are being with my caring and loving friends and family. And having a wonderful Rabbit, and I think I am so lucky that my family can afford to go on holiday, not like people in other countries where they have no money to feed their family let alone go holiday.
I worry that in the future there might be another world war and lots of people might die and get hurt. And I don’t agree that people are allowed to kill all sorts of animals like fox hunting and rabbit hunting

In this world I wish there was no war and the cities will be safe. And every one will be safe with no fighting and no trouble in England or anywhere in the world. I want to stop terrorists making new nuclear weapons. They should not have crashed into the buildings because if the nuclear weapons go wrong it will kill all of us. If we make a deal with the terrorist leaders let’s hope it will never happen again for a long time. Let's hope the weapons get destroyed. We are very lucky because we are not in the country where there are lots of wars. So here we are very safe.

There are things in my life that are good, such as my family and friends, and everyone being happy. Also I have a good home and education, clothes and holidays. Then again there are things that are not so good, for instance we all enjoy having a nice bath and drying our hair with an electric hair dryer but electricity is harming our universe.
You see there is something called an O-ZONE layer which is very important to us and without it human life could be wiped out because UV rays and other gases etc could come in and give us horrible diseases such as cancer. It is important that we use electricity as little as possible for example turn the light off when you are not in that room or turn the TV off when you are not watching it.
But there is a source, which makes us able to use electricity it is called a power station, which is actually the cause of most pollution. Cars and cigarettes are also a big cause of pollution because of the fumes they give off. Cigarettes and car fumes can also give us lung cancer if we are around them too often. My hope for the future is that pollution of the world will stop and that my family in about 100 years will not die a painful death

My name is Kirsty. I am 11 years of age. I live in Beverley, which is a small town in the North-East of England. The good things in my life are my family who looks after me and cares about me in everything I do and also my friends because they trust me and look after me. I have three special friends at my school.
The things that aren’t so good in my life is that I’m in my last year of primary school, because that’s my first school I have ever been to. I’m really worried about moving up to secondary school because I might get picked on.
The things I worry about in the future are if there are any more wars starting again, and if there is to be an aeroplane crash but this time in England. And also the fire fighters being on strike in England recently, because I’m worried about all those people who have died in 2002 and there is no one to save them. In the future I hope there is no more war, no aeroplane crashes and no more fire fighters being on strike again. I wish I could stop it all.

One of the things I like best in my life is my teddy Flumps because I have had her since my christening. Recently I got this cat called Danielle. Next I like my clarinet, and also my friends, Rebecca W, Rebecca N, Kirsty, Lauren and Sophie.
There is one thing in life that is bad. Recently my Auntie collapsed and died in her hometown of Scunthorpe. I was weepy all the time.
My hope for the future is that there is no such thing as war because the young and old people would die plus it would not be fair. The bad things about my life are having to go to school, also ferries and aeroplanes because I’m afraid that something might happen to me if I go on them.

My name is Lauren I am 10 years of age and I live in Beverley, England. The good things in my life are my family, my education and I have a lot of friends that are great and they all care about me ...also my fave boy band, BLUE, are still on the go!
The issues that I am concerned about is the situation in Iraq. I think some dictators are a bit stupid because they obviously wants our world to be destroyed. Then everyone would die sooner or later. In the future I want there to be no more wars and also everyone to get along, maybe petty arguments but nothing violent to happen. It would amaze me if this happened.
Also I hope BLUE are still on the go because they are a terrific boy band each with superb voices. This is one of the main things but another one is that I wish for there to be peace, peace all over the world in every single country and I don’t want America to go to war with Iraq because it might end up been world war three and nobody wants that.
It would be a shame if we woke up one day and to see nothing, no trees, or plants, animals and life. It would be a real shame because if there were no plants there would be no us and just think for a moment, you don’t really want that to happen. All I want is peace in the world, peace forever and always - this is my peace diary.

In this world I wish that there is no war and everyone gets on well. I have a good family but in a poorer country children can’t go to school and can’t read or write. I hope poorer people will get money so there children can go to school and read and write and also get on with other coloured people so they won’t be racist.
I also hope that other people won’t kill animals for their skins and tusks which have ivory in them. And also stop cutting down trees because people are cutting down trees but they aren’t putting new seeds in to make new trees.

All of the people who kill animals and destroy rainforests are just stupid. Taking animals’ skin, hides, tusks, horns etc: all just for money. Soon there could not be any animals left and the earth would be ruined and if that happens those hunters or whatever people call them will be out of business and then what would they do. I thank all of those people who keep animals safe in zoos. At least someone knows right from wrong.

I don’t see why there is war in the world, and I don’t fully understand what starts a war. I would like to reason with the dictators, unless it means putting a stop to Christianity. We are still quite lucky in our country of England. In some countries people don’t have any food, but we have loads. I feel sorry for them.

One of the most important things in my life is my family. I have lots of people in my family but my mum and dad are most important. I also have lots of good friends at school. I think the bad thing is when something bad is happening to your family, it feels like a war that I am in.
Also one of the bad things in the world is war! War is not a good thing so when I am older I would like to be a peacemaker like a princess I knew (Diana) but she has died. She might have come to your town or country. That brings me to another bad thing being mean (bullying). It happens at loads of schools. Sometimes people have a fall out and they start thinking they are hard because they are so upset about it so they start being mean.

The good things in my life are: my very kind family (some kids don’t have nice families), my friends, happiness and health, my safety, food and drink (I am very grateful for water that doesn’t kill me), learning and good education and technology and also the best band are around; Blue. They give me a lot of enjoyment!
The not so good things are: war and poverty, deadly illnesses, smoking, bullies and spiders and also the weather affects me as well. I think the fireman strike, which there has been recently in our country, is awful because footballers get millions of pounds when all they do is play football and firemen save life’s nearly every week! But I can also see the other point of view. The people who train to be firemen or firewomen know the pay and they should not train for that job if they don’t like the pay!
Dictators and terrorists should not set any nuclear weapons off or spread the Cholera germs because eventually the disease will spread to them and their people so they will just come off as bad as us!
I also think the extinction of animals who have tusks or really nice fur is wrong because they have as much right to live on this world as us (I am not against all the killing chickens and pigs because it is the food chain) but killing them just for one thing is stupid. Like people cutting down rain forests, that is something’s habitat. It’s like someone just demolishing our home and we didn’t know. It is cruel.
If I had one wish it would be to get rid of all the bad things on Earth. And so that everyone would be safe and things where shared out equally. I hope at least all the poverty will be gone.

What I think about the quality of my life, the big thing in my life that means a lot to me is being with my close family and having pets. When I am with my close family I feel happy and lucky to have them and when I’m with my pets I feel the same luck. The down side to my life is I do not like being away from my family so it is hard sometimes because my nanna lives abroad in Spain and there are some bombs in places near her. Not very big ones, they don't hurt a lot of people. There are about two every month but my nanna has not got hurt in one because most of them are suicide bombs where people blow themselves up which I think is stupid because they kill themselves, some times for their religion and some because they do not like their lives and it is not nice for people because they get scared.
If we were without war and bombs it would be better, but no one would know about some of the chemicals in them and what they do, so even though people die or get killed it is teaching us about things in the future and what could happen to use, maybe in the next 10 or 20 years. So in a way it does some thing good some times but bad as well like it kills all animals and wildlife.
Killing of animals makes me think that when I get older and maybe have children they would not be able to see the rhino or tigers. But it is not all down to people killing them, all animals I believe will die out because it is part of nature like the mammoth died out. I think that maybe if people lived when the mammoth lived they thought the same. Another thing that concerns me is that there might be a comet that will hit earth and that if I had children they would die with out living a proper life which would be sad.
So my hopes for the future are that nobody kills animals and that the comet does not hit us and that we do not have any more major wars and that my family does not get hurt. They are my hopes for the future.

Life is something that we all have but some things in life are bad and some things are good. This is my opinion.
The good things in my life are: I think that my life is good because I have got a loving family, friends and I can make my own choices. I also think that I am very lucky because there are some people in the world that don’t have a loving family or can not make their own choices and that live in war. England is one of the good places to live because there are not at lot of wars or unhappy cruelty, I feel safe.
Although there is one thing in life I am very concerned about and that is I have heard that there will be a comet that might come down and hit the earth and destroy the human population. It worries me that if I have any children they would die with out living a life.
I don’t agree with when older people abuse younger children. I don’t think it is right because our world is meant to be peaceful; some things aren’t. I would change the world by trying to teach others the way I believe and what I think we could do about it.

I think that a world without animals would be devastating. Animals die by the minute! Hunters are classified as money lovers and in my opinion they kill for money. Animals such as elephants, rhinos and cheetahs are rare, over 10,000 die every year. Maybe if hunters thought for a day they would think that we need animals in the world.

This world would be better if the government would share money evenly and there were no wars and that racism did not exist. Also that animals would not be killed for their skin, tusks and other valuables and that workers stop cutting trees down, but if they planted seeds we wouldn’t destroy rare animals homes.
And that people respect other people’s religions and that they don’t take them for granted. The good thing about my life is that I’ve got family and relations that care for me. Just last week I got a dog called Smokey but her kennel club name is Kara’s Rose.
