The Bronx - III Constitution of Student Rights

Students:
Grade 8

Preamble:
All children are entitled to have the rights written in this bill. These are the rights children have examined, debated and believe are their natural rights.

Article 1— We think kids should be free in the country that they were born in and in the country they live in. If they travel to another country illegally they should be free.

Article 5 — In this country there are teenagers who are charged as adults and in some cases have been executed. In order to prevent execution of children in this country and countries world wide we must include the fifth Amendment and/or article in the Students Constitution of Rights. If we include this right we can prevent execution of children in any form. No child shall be put under execution no matter the crime and no power shall override this right.

Article 12 — This article relates to kids by telling them they have the right to have privacy. And no one has the right to go through your private space unauthorized.
Article 18 — We think that everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

Article 19 — Article Nineteen is important to kids in the U.S. because it would give children freedom of opinion. They would have the power to express their feelings about anything freely. It should be in the Student Constitution of Rights for kids because as mentioned before, it would allow kids to express their feelings on politics, sports, religion and other issues without getting beat or in trouble.

Article 26 — Kids are entitled to freedom and free education. While the child is in elementary throughout high school there shall be no racism. All shall be equal. The children and parents shall decide together what type of education the child would like.
